Separate the product description from purchase evidence
The HFC-1001 product page presents supplier-reported properties and the original file. A catalogue description is not a batch certificate, a current safety sheet or proof of suitability for your mix. This checklist helps a buyer assemble the information needed for a technical and commercial review.
The supplied file uses mixed company and trade names. Confirm the issuer and grade directly; do not infer trademark authorization, equivalence to another supplier’s product, or ownership of a third-party brand.
Request four distinct evidence items
| Record | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Current TDS | Ask for HFC-1001 grade identity, revision date, declared properties and test conditions. Clarify the cement/binder denominator and supplied-product/solids dose basis. |
| Current SDS | Request the sheet applicable to the supplied grade and destination. Handling, storage and transport decisions need the relevant safety documentation, not assumptions from a generic PCE page. |
| Batch COA | Request a certificate tied to the offered or sample batch. Review reported values, units, methods and acceptance limits; do not assume an example certificate represents the shipment. |
| Application evidence | Ask which mix, materials, dose basis, temperature, curing and test ages were used in any performance report. Separate a product claim from an actual comparable trial. |
Use the Documents page for the site-wide request route. The downloadable file on the product page remains the supplied reference; its current approval status has not been established here.
Keep the sample connected to its documents
- Specify HFC-1001 and your intended application in the sample request.
- Ask for batch identification and the corresponding current TDS, SDS and available COA.
- Record receipt date, label details and the condition of the package for the responsible team’s review.
- Keep trial records linked to that batch, so a successful evaluation is not detached from its material identity.
Define your mix and trial question using the Precast trial checklist. A sample result does not establish performance for all cement sources or future batches.
Confirm packaging for the actual order
The supplied sheet mentions 25 kg, 200 kg and 1,000 kg quantities and bulk supply. Treat these as supplier-listed possibilities, not confirmed inventory, container types or a delivery promise. The product-page image is an illustration, not a photograph of your shipment.
| Record | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Container and quantity | Confirm available container type, net product mass, tare information if needed, minimum order and sample quantity. A mass label does not define a container volume. |
| Labelling | Agree the grade, batch identification, supplier information and required label details. If custom packaging is requested, obtain written confirmation of feasibility and responsibility. |
| Delivery scope | Provide destination, requested quantity and timing. Ask what is included in the quote, freight basis, lead time and any document requirements. |
| Storage and shelf life | Ask for grade-specific written conditions and the applicable manufacture or expiry information. Do not borrow limits from another PCE supplier. |
Do not assign a transport classification or handling procedure from this checklist. Those decisions require the applicable current documentation and qualified review.
Compare offers on a defined basis
Start with grade identity, supply quantity and quote scope. If comparing supplied-liquid cost with active-solids cost, first obtain declared solids for each offered grade; solids for HFC-1001 are not established in the supplied record. The Solids converter is a mass-balance tool, not a performance ranking.
Compare the cost of technically evaluated mixes only after recording the dose and its basis. Equal solids, equal price per kilogram or a shared PCE description do not demonstrate equivalent behaviour.
Copy these inputs into your enquiry
- Grade: HFC-1001; application and destination.
- Sample or order quantity, preferred packaging and requested delivery timing.
- Cement/binder details, current mix and the performance question to evaluate.
- Requests: current TDS and SDS, available batch COA, confirmed dose basis and declared solids.
- Commercial scope: quote currency, delivery basis and packaging or labelling requirements.
